Really tl dr "resetting position" sets your SteamVR position to "0" not necessarily your game position. Tl dr in a perfect box if you used only us to move you would move back to origin, but the second you turn/use the motion in game the games co-ordinate system does not match steamvr's and you might end up in un-expected/new areas on reset. we are effectively blind to the game's co-ordinate system, as such when you do things like use the games locomotion/turning it changes the percieved origin point.Įven hitting things like collisions in game could cause the perceived origin to change. You can check if it will be animated by looking the debug/errors in the. Otherwise, it wont be animated in VRChat. To do so, click on your 3d model file in unity and go in the inspector then you should found a tab to switch it. However some VRChat avatars have a prefab called GoGoLoco, it has to. Make sure your avatar is imported as an humanoid rig and is properly rigged. Unfortunately you cannot have those on Quest 3, Meta does not support it. If I move myself too much, and then try to drag myself back to center, my StreamVR FREAKS out. Unfortunately you wont be able to find plays pace mover through any quest device as its only available through pc, you would have to open up steam vr and use your quest on pc in order to use play space. That setting would only work on FBT, otherwise they would have to change the walking animation in the. I believe you need at least 6 tracking points (head, left hand, right hand, hips, left foot, right foot) for the locomotion option to even work. sort of lines up, and your hip movements work too. If you dont have at least 4 tracking points (head, left hand, right hand, hips) it will not work. Your feet line up, your hands line up, your head. Its fun in VRChat to be able to move about and resize my height, but Im having trouble. Go back into VRChat settings and reduce your height by 4-6 inches more, effectively reducing what VRChat believes the distance between the floor and your hip 'should' be, and thereby straightening up your legs. Using the Reset keybind option in motion in keybindings or the Reset option in the Offsets tab is the more correct way. Im still learning how to fully utilize the playspace mover in OVR Advanced Settings. Everyone here’s been super helpful and I think I might have managed to get it working but I can’t test it since I’m still on visitor rank and I’ve been on vacation for the past week meaning I haven’t had much time for vrchat. It didn’t play nice with mixamo so I decided to try and rig it myself from scratch. "Revert All Changes from this Session" is not really meant for the offsets (though it should work) OP on different account here, it’s my Roblox avatar. So first off Just making sure you are on 5.2.0 (front page bottom right) Well There are two values ~8km and ~40km out that behavior might change a bit but I doubt you are hitting those XD.
